Notification issues and how to fix them

Unable to receive notifications on Fitbit Ace LTE

  • Confirm that your child’s watch isn't in School time . When School time is enabled, it silences notifications to minimize distractions, and your child won’t get a notification sound or a full screen notification. Notifications are still available in the notification tray.
  • Make sure that Do not Disturb isn't enabled on your child’s watch. To find this setting, swipe down from the home screen.

Unable to receive notifications on your phone

Notifications are sent to your phone for incoming calls, missed calls, or messages from your child’s Fitbit Ace LTE.

If you're not getting these notifications, make sure that you’ve turned on app notifications for Fitbit Ace on your phone.

When you open your Fitbit Ace app and find a dot above  Call or Message, it indicates a new notification for that type.

Other notifications in the Fitbit Ace app

Within the Fitbit Ace app, you may receive notification cards that inform you of actions that need to take place either within the app or on your child’s Fitbit Ace LTE. These include the status of your Ace Pass, device protection eligibility, and any permissions that may not be set correctly.
