Add & edit fitness activities

You can manually add activity to your Google Fit activity history or edit an activity that’s already there. You can also start challenges, log your weight, and more. 

Add or edit information

  1. On your Android phone, open the Google Fit app Google Fit.
  2. At the bottom right, tap Add Add data.
  3. Choose an option:
    • Add blood pressure Add blood pressure.
    • Add weight Weight.
    • Add activity Activity.
    • Track workout Track workout.

Edit your activity

After you complete your activity or workout, it will save to your journal in Google Fit. If the activity wasn’t saved correctly, you can change it.

  1. On your Android phone, open the Google Fit app Google Fit.
  2. Tap Journal.
  3. Tap the activity you want to change.
  4. At the top, tap More More and then Edit.

Add info you didn't track with Fit

If you don't have your device with you as you walk, run, or bike, you can add those activities to Google Fit later. You can also add weight changes or activities that Fit doesn't automatically track (like weightlifting, rowing, or baseball).

  1. On your Android phone, open the Google Fit app Google Fit.
  2. At the bottom right, tap Add Add data.
  3. Tap Add weight Weight or Add activity Activity.
  4. Enter your information and tap Save.

Delete your activity history or data

You can remove an activity from your history if it's not accurate, or you can delete all of your exercise history. You can also erase all data tied to your Fit account. 

Delete a specific activity

  1. On your Android phone, open the Google Fit app Google Fit.
  2. Tap Journal.
  3. Scroll through your exercise history and tap the activity you want to delete.
  4. Tap More More and then Delete.

Delete all activities

Note: This will delete the entire activity history from your Fit account.

  1. On your Android phone, open the Google Fit app Google Fit.
  2. Tap Profile.
  3. At the top, tap Settings Settings.
  4. Tap Manage your data and then Manage data.
  5. Next to "Activities," tap Delete and then Delete.

Delete all of your data

Note: This will erase all your info from your Fit account. It doesn’t delete the data from other apps that have connected to Fit.

  1. On your Android phone, open the Google Fit app Google Fit.
  2. Tap Profile.
  3. At the top, tap Settings Settings.
  4. Tap Manage your data and then Manage data and then Clear all data.
  5. Confirm that you want to erase the data and tap Delete.
