You can circle, highlight, scribble, or tap text on images viewed in your Files by Google app to select and search for them on Google.
Important: This feature is available on select models of Android phones.
How to use Circle to Search on Files by Google
- On your Android device, open Files by Google
.
- Open an image.
- Tap Google Lens
.
- To select the text or image you want to search, on your screen, you can circle, highlight, or tap anywhere.
- To refine your search, add text in the search bar.
- At the bottom of the screen, your search results appear.
- To get more results, swipe up on the results.
