Add shortcuts to the home screen

You can now create shortcuts on your home screen and access features directly from there.

Important: This option is applicable for Clean, Downloads, and Share.

Add the Clean shortcut to the home screen

1. On your home screen, touch and hold the Files by Google app .
2. A list of 3 options appears:
   • Clean
   • Downloads
   • Share
3. Touch and hold the Clean icon and drag it to the device screen. The Clean icon appears as a separate icon along with the Files by Google app.
4. When you tap the Clean shortcut, the Clean tab opens directly.

Add the Downloads shortcut to the home screen

1. On your home screen, touch and hold the Files by Google app .
2. A list of 3 options appears:
   • Clean
   • Downloads
   • Share
3. Touch and hold the Downloads icon and drag it to the device screen. The Downloads icon appears as a separate icon along with the Files by Google app.
4. When you tap the Downloads shortcut, the Downloads tab opens directly.

Add the Share shortcut to the home screen

1. On your home screen, touch and hold the Files by Google app .
2. A list of 3 options appears:
   • Clean
   • Downloads
   • Share
3. Touch and hold the Share icon and drag it to the device screen. The Share icon appears as a separate icon along with the Files by Google app.
4. When you tap the Share shortcut, the Share tab opens directly.
