Now that Google One has launched and allows family sharing for storage, can the 1TB of Google Drive storage included with my Fiber plan port over to Google One? This would make the feature much more useful for our household!

I also have fiber and the included 1 TB storage. I signed up for an extra 100gb from Google one for $2 a month. It carried over the 1 TB into Google one. So now 1.1 TB is available for all the Google one perks like family sharing and stuff. Eventually I imagine that subscribing for the extra 100gb won't be necessary.

Oh poop. I just discovered that my family member is limited to the 100GB and can't use the 1TB that i brought over.

Even if my GoogleFiber 1 TB is not shareable, it still needs to be included in my total available storage accessible from GoogleOne and all other Google products, not just GoogleDrive. GoogleOne currently shows only the 15GB.  Users report that it shows up and is not shareable, but only if they purchase additional (unneeded) storage from GoogleOne.  However it's handled, this is an easy technology fix.  It is extremely unlikely to have any noticable (much less material) adverse impact on GoogleOne product revenues, and argument to contrary is a straw argument anyway).  If anything it might prove beneficial to Fiber revenues.  Most likely it's a test:  If enough Fiber users sign up to pay extra for GoogleOne, then Google may opt not to fix this. GoogleOne features are nice but pricing is very customer unfriendly and features not exactly revolutionary. A wait and see approach is likely most prudent.
