Google Fiber TV includes accessibility features that are available to everyone without the need for any special equipment.
Fiber TV
Closed captioning
Closed captions make television programming more accessible to people who are deaf or hearing impaired. Closed captions are available with the Fiber TV service and in the built-in apps. You can turn closed captions on or off and set various formatting options for closed captions on your Fiber TV. Also, you can turn closed captions on or off for any show using the Fiber TV app for Android and iOS.
Audio description
Audio description makes television programming more accessible to people who are blind or visually impaired. Content providers insert audio description into the natural pauses in a show's dialogue. When content providers make it available, you can enable audio description for the show you're watching.
Fiber TV App
With a touch of a button, you can also turn closed captions on/off or enable audio description using the Fiber TV App for either Android or iOS.
Google Fiber Phone
You can dial 711 to call Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS). The relay service helps people who are hearing or speech impaired make phone calls through an operator.
