Make or receive calls from your phone or computer

When GFiber Phone is set up and active, you can make and receive calls on your landline phone, mobile phone, or computer.

Landline phone

On your phone, use your handset.

  • Local calls in your area code: Dial a 7-digit number.

  • Calls outside of your area code: Dial (1) + 3-digit area code + 7-digit phone number.

  • International calls: Dial 011 + country code + number.

International calls made from your phone are charged to your Google Fiber account.

Mobile phone

To make and receive calls on your mobile phone, use the Google Voice app.

Android & iOS

International calls made from your mobile phone require a credit in Google Voice.

Computer

You can make and receive calls on your computer using Google Voice within one of the web browsers listed below:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Safari

Desktop

  1. From your browser, open Google Voice.

  2. On the right, enter the name or number of the person you wish to call above the "keypad," then click the Call icon Calls.

To learn about everything you can do using Google Voice, visit the Google Voice help center.

  • If you're placing an international call, select the country code by typing it into the search box (for example, +55 for Brazil). International calls made from your computer require a credit in Google Voice.
  • At the top right of the screen, you can view your Google Fiber number by selecting Settings .
911 emergency calls are not available when calling from a computer. For emergency calls, use your landline phone or mobile phone.
