Fiber TV settings overview
You can set a variety of options to customize your Fiber TV experience in Settings menu. For example, you can set audio and video options, parental controls, and remote control button functions. You can also set some options for specific shows, such as closed captions, on the Info bar.
To display the Settings menu:
Press on the remote control, select Settings, and press ok.
Select the type of settings you want to change and press ok.
Audio/Video Adjust audio and video settings for your TV, including audio and video output modes, position and size of the Fiber TV interface on your screen, the video aspect ratio, and the default audio language. Guide Customize the on-screen guide: Create custom program guides, adjust the guide's font size, show or hide unsubscribed channels, and show or hide color coding for different types of programming. Remote Customize some of the remote control buttons. DVR Customize your default DVR settings, such as the amount of time to add before or after a recorded show and whether to record reruns. Timers Set timers, such as the screensaver timer. Parental Controls Set parental controls to restrict what your children can watch on TV. Closed Captions Customize format of closed captions. Restart your Fiber TV Box for troubleshooting purposes.
To display settings on the Info bar:
While watching a show, press on the remote control.
The info bar appears at the bottom of the screen.
Press on the remote.
Select the settings you want to change and press ok.
Closed Captions Turn closed captions on or off and select the captioning channel. Language Set audio options delivered through the Secondary Audio Program (SAP), such as the spoken language or audio description, if it's available for the show you're watching. Aspect Ratio Set the aspect ratio (how the video image fits your screen) for the show you're watching. Parental Controls Access parental control settings on the main Settings page.
