Add or remove TV Boxes

If you already have Fiber 1000 + TV service installed, you can add or remove TV Boxes at any time.

To add a TV Box:

  1. Sign in to Fiber using the email and password you use for your Fiber account. Your Account page appears.

  2. Click Manage Plan. From the Plan details page, click Change Plan.

  3. Under Devices, select Add or remove TV Boxes.

    If you've already made a pending change to your plan, a message appears asking you to cancel the pending change before continuing. For example, if you have already made a change to remove a TV package, you must click Cancel request before adding or removing a TV Box.

  4. Click Add a TV Box for each TV Box you want to add. You receive your first box with your TV Plan, and can add up to 5 more for a maximum of 6 TV Boxes per address. Click Continue to display the Review Changes page.

  5.  Click Edit if you want to revise your selections.

  6. Confirm your changes and click the blue links in the acceptance box to read the terms and conditions. If you agree to the terms and conditions, check all the boxes and click Submit.

    If you're adding TV Boxes, a final message appears to ask you to contact Google Fiber customer support to schedule your TV Box installation appointment.

To remove a TV Box:
  1. Sign in to Fiber using the email and password you use for your Fiber account. Your Account page appears.

  2. Click Manage Plan; then click Change Plan and select Add or remove TV Boxes.

    If you've already made a pending change to your plan, a message appears asking you to cancel the pending change before continuing. For example, if you have already made a change to remove a TV package, you must click Cancel request before adding or removing a TV Box.

  3. Click Remove device next to the TV Box you want to remove; then click Continue to display the Review Changes screen.

  4. Review your changes. If you want to change anything, click Edit next to the item you want to change.

  5. Confirm your changes and click the blue links in the acceptance box to read the terms and conditions. If you agree to the terms and conditions, check all the boxes and click Submit.

Billing information

If you add TV Boxes

  • A monthly charge for each additional TV Box is added, starting with the month following your upgrade installation.

  • All charges are subject to applicable taxes and fees, which are explained in your monthly bill.

If you remove TV Boxes

  • All devices returned to your local Fiber Space must be in good working order to be accepted by Google Fiber. You may be charged for devices that are not in good working order or are not returned within 25 days.

    Because you pay in advance for each month of service, billing for each removed TV Box will be removed starting the month after you save the plan change.

  • All charges are subject to applicable taxes and fees, which are explained in your monthly bill.

    If you remove a TV Box but determine you want to keep it, you can cancel the pending removal.

  • On the Account page, click Manage Plan; then click Change Plan and cancel the removal.
