About your customer support PIN

When you contact Google Fiber customer support, you'll be asked to provide your customer support PIN. Your PIN is a 4- or 5-digit number that identifies you as an authorized Google Fiber customer.

  • If you haven't signed up for Fiber yet, you'll be asked to create a unique 5-digit PIN during the sign-up process.
  • If you're a current Fiber customer, you already have a 4-digit PIN displayed on the Account page of your Fiber account. To increase security on your account, we encourage you to change your existing PIN to a 5-digit number.

To create a PIN during sign-up:

  1. When you sign up for Fiber, follow the prompts to create a 5-digit PIN.

    Your PIN must contain at least two different numbers, and cannot be sequential. For example, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 is an invalid entry. 

  2. Enter a unique PIN that's easy to remember, and then click Save.

    After you've signed up for Fiber, your PIN is displayed on the Account page of your Fiber account.

To edit an existing PIN:

  1. Sign in to Fiber using the email and password you use for your Fiber account.

  2. From your Account page, click Manage Profile; then click Edit next to the PIN icon.

    Your existing 4-digit PIN will be replaced by the 5-digit PIN you create. Your PIN must contain at least two different numbers, and cannot be sequential. For example, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 is an invalid entry.  

  3. Enter a unique PIN that's easy to remember and click Save. Your new PIN is displayed on your Account page.

To find your PIN:

Sign in to Fiber using the email and password you use for your Fiber account. Your PIN appears in the Manage Profile section of your Account page.

To use the Fiber app to find your PIN:

In the Fiber app, touch menu , then Account . Your PIN appears in the Customer Support section. (If you edit your PIN on your computer, it's updated in the Fiber app too.) 

If you can't locate your PIN in your Fiber account or the Fiber app, contact Google Fiber customer support to authenticate your account. Learn more about Fiber mobile apps.

If you receive an email indicating that your Fiber customer support PIN has changed, and you did not make the change, someone has access to your Google Account password. Change your Google Account password, and then log back into your Fiber account and change your customer support PIN.
