Your Google Fiber account uses your main Google Account for identification and authentication, so your Fiber password is the same one you use for Gmail, Calendar, and other Google apps.
To recover your password:
-
Go to the password recovery page.
-
Enter your Gmail or email address.
-
Click Submit, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Follow this procedure to restore your Google Account password if you've forgotten it. You'll be asked a few questions such as your username, Gmail address or previous passwords to confirm it's your account. Answer the best you can to recover or reset your password.
Change your Fiber Wi-Fi network password
Your Google Fiber password is completely different from your Fiber network password. Your Fiber password allows you to access your Fiber account to manage your Fiber service, including changing personal information, updating payment method or viewing your statements. Your Fiber network password is what you or anyone in your household enters to connect a wireless device to your Wi-Fi network. Here's how to change your Fiber Wi-Fi network password.
Recover your Google Account password
If you have problems signing in to your Google account, try using the troubleshooter in the Google Account help center. Your Google account password protects your Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Fiber, and other Google services from access by anyone but you.
