Add a back-up payment method

A back-up payment method serves as a safety net to ensure that your service is not interrupted. If your primary payment method doesn't work for some reason, we will charge your backup payment method for your Fiber service.


To add a back-up payment method:

  1. Sign in to Fiber using the email and password you use for your Fiber account. Your Account page appears.

  2. Click Manage Bill.

  3. On the billing page, click Manage Payment Methods; then click Add Payment Method.

  4. Select the type of payment method you want to add; then enter the required information.

  5. If you need to change or add an address for the payment type, click the address box and select or add an address. (If you add an address, enter only the zip code.)

  6. Click Save.

  7. From the drop-down list on the new payment method card, select Backup.

    Add a back-up payment method to your Google Fiber account.
