Set display and audio options

You can set certain display options for the show you are watching only. When you change the channel or the show ends, these temporary display options return to their default settings. (You can also set persistent display options.)

The show-specific display options are:

  • Closed caption: Click to go to closed caption settings.

  • English/AC3/Channel 1: You can use the SAP setting to select a different audio channel when more than is available in the broadcast. (This option might be labeled English, AC3, Channel 1, or something else, depending on the available audio channels.

  • Aspect ratio: The proportional relationship between the width and height of an image. In the case of a TV, it is commonly expressed as two numbers separated by a colon, as in 16 x 9. Learn more about aspect ratios.

To display these options, while watching any type of content, press on the remote control, and select Options from the overlay that appears. The Options submenu displays the current selection for each option.
