Cancel a scheduled recording (legacy)

You can cancel a show that is scheduled to be recorded.

This article applies to customers who have the legacy version of Fiber TV. If you have the new version of our user interface, please view this article on how to cancel a recording.

For Smart Recordings, you cannot cancel an individual occurrence of a Smart Recording.

To cancel a scheduled recording:

  1. Press on the remote control, and select DVR from the menu.

  2. On the DVR menu at the bottom of the screen, select Scheduled.

    A list of the scheduled recordings appears, sorted by date.

  3. Select the recording you want to cancel, and press ok.

    • If it is a single show:

      1. Select Cancel Recording (or Stop Recording, if it is recording now).

        The scheduled recording is canceled.

    • If it is a series or Smart Recording:

      1. Select Recording Options.

      2. On the Recording Options screen, select Stop Recordings next to Remove.

        A message prompts you to confirm that you want to cancel the recording.

      3. Select Stop Recordings.

        The selected recording schedule is canceled.
