Set your language preference

Google Fiber is available in English and Spanish. English is the default language, but you can set Spanish as your preferred language either permanently or temporarily. There are two ways to set your preferred language: from your Google Account, or in your Fiber account after you've signed in.

  • From your Google Account. Your Fiber account displays your language preference every time you sign in.
  • From your Fiber account. The language is displayed until you sign out of Fiber.

To set your display language permanently:

  1. Go to your Google Account page.

  2. In the Account Preferences section, select Language & Input Tools; then click the pencil icon to display the language selector.

  3. In the language selector, click Add Another Language.

  4. Choose Español from the menu; then click OK.

  5. To set Spanish as your preferred language, click the arrow next to Español to move Spanish to the top of the language list.

Spanish is set as your default language, and will be displayed every time you sign into Fiber or go to other Google pages that support Spanish.

To set your display language temporarily:

  1. Sign into your Fiber account and scroll to the bottom of any page.

  2. Under Translate, choose either English or Español from the menu. All your Fiber pages are displayed in the selected language until you sign out.
