Change your Google Account password

Your Google Fiber account uses your main Google Account for identification and authentication. Your Google Account is where you manage information about your identity, your location, and your contact information for all the Google services you use.

To change your Google Account password, access your account settings. If you are not signed in, a message prompts you to sign in before you can access your account settings.

On your Google Accounts page, click Sign-in & Security; then click Signing in to Google and follow the instructions to change your password.

Your account password is completely different from your Fiber network password. Your account password protects your Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Fiber, and other Google services from access by anyone but you. Your Fiber network password is what you or anyone in your household enters to connect a wireless device to your Wi-Fi network.
