Watch a recorded show

Once a show is recorded, you can watch it anytime. 

To watch a recorded show:

  1. Press on the remote control, and select DVR from the menu.

    Shortcut: Press and ok to go straight to your current recordings.

  2. On the DVR menu at the bottom of the screen, select Current.

    A list of current recordings appears.

  3. Select All and then select TV or Movie from the drop-down list to display only TV titles or only movie titles, or leave All selected to display both.

  4. You can sort the content by clicking one of the icons at the top:

    •   Display shows in chronological order, based on when they were recorded. (This is the default setting.)

    •   Display shows in alphabetical order. If there are a lot of shows listed you can press ok to display an alphabet bar. As you press the right-arrow button on the remote, the shows that begin with the highlighted letter appear. Select the first letter of the show you want to find. Press ok or the down-arrow to hide the alphabet bar.

  5. Press the arrow buttons on the remote control to highlight the show you want to watch, and then perform one of the following actions:

    The recorded show begins playing.

    • Press ok on the remote control to display the Detailed Info screen for that show.

      OR

    • Press  on the remote control to play the content without displaying details. If more than one episode has been recorded, you can opt to play the episodes not yet watched or all episodes.

On the DVR menu at the bottom of the screen, you can select:

Icons used on the Current Recordings screen

The following icons are used to provide information about the shows listed on the Current Recordings screen:

Icon Meaning
Scheduled single recording
Scheduled Smart Recording
Smart Recording
The show has been watched. (Watched shows are deleted before unwatched shows when space is needed for new recordings.)
