'GFiber Technician Tracker' is a feature that allows GFiber customers to track their technician's real-time location and estimated time of arrival on the day of the scheduled appointment.
Here's how it works:
1. You are assigned a technician when you schedule an appointment for installation or repair.
2. You will receive an SMS alert 2 days prior to your appointment
3. A day prior to your appointment, you will receive an email with a link to monitor your Technician's progress when they are en route to your location.
4. You will receive an SMS reminder 2 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
5. When your Technician is 30 minutes away from your location, you will receive an SMS and an email alert.
6. The SMS and email alert will include a link to a GPS-enabled, map-based view of the technician's location, route, and estimated time of arrival. Please make sure someone 18 years or older is present at the location.
