What's happening with Video on Demand content in Kansas City?
Starting January 14, 2022, no new content will be added to Fiber TV’s video-on-demand offerings in the Kansas City market.
Any shows, movies, or other content currently available in the Fiber TV on-demand library will continue to be available. This limitation only impacts new content being added.
This content is available elsewhere - often in higher definition and possibly at lower costs - through streaming services. If you aren’t sure where to find the content you want, you can search on sites like The Streamable (thestreamable.com) or use the smart search across services with the new Google TV (available as a free app as well as through the search function on Chromecast with Google TV devices).
It’s one more reason that we encourage current Fiber TV customers to upgrade their TV experience to something better, with a streaming service for their live and on-demand watching. Current Fiber TV customers who are ready to switch can upgrade their equipment to Chromecast with Google TV for free, and get their live programming with one of the many great live TV streaming services.
