Bobbie- Welcome to the Google Fi Help Community! Fi does make things easy with their plans and activating. It can save you a bundle as well if you don't use too much data as it combines public safe wifi as well to save data use. You just need to do the math compared to what you have now to see if it's for you.

Absolutely not. The customer service is god awful. I have spent over 20 days without my phone since I purchased it. Despite purchasing my phone and protection plan at the same time from the Google store, they claimed for over a week that I was not eligible. Google customer support made me send Google a copy of my Google Store receipt to prove that I purchased the Google protection plan from Google. Then it took them another 10 days to figure out how to help me. 

Fast forward a few months and there is another issue with my device. This time, customer support was very quick to send me to a strip mall repair shop that looked like a crack house on the inside complete with holes in the wall, overlapping paint jobs, and zero efforts to align with pandemic protocols. They told me they do not service this type of issue. Now Google is requiring me to send my phone to their repair center and quoting a 10 day wait before I will have service again. 

I do not recommend their protection plan due mostly to inept customer service. Two minor issues have taken weeks to resolve and required me to defend myself to over 20 customer service reps. I paid for more than 2 weeks of service I did not receive and am about to send my phone away for another 10. Any other carrier on the market is better.
