Possible to change devices from a Pixel 3 to Pixel 5, while outside the US with an existing Fi plan? 0 Recommended Answers 1 Reply 0 Upvotes

I've been told this is not possible and wanted to check if that is in fact true.

Hello Liz Chenny,

Welcome to the Google Fi Community forum.

Yes, it's true. You will not be able to activate the Pixel 5 on Google Fi from outside the US, the only exceptions being for active military deployed outside the US and/or a US government employee. Said exceptions are not user configurable and must be processed, validated, and approved by Google Fi.
