Trouble with connectivity in Muscat Oman. 3 Recommended Answers 31 Replies 15 Upvotes

Does not connect to local Cellular services Omantel and ooredoo. Connects only over WiFi. Tried switching to flight mode, restarting the phone. Tried connecting manually but network appear forbidden. Without Cellular connectivity does not make sense to use this at all.

Thanks ScottG_TC. 
I have contacted google fi support. Went through all the known steps to connect to cellular but just didn't work. Have sent in the logs.
Hoping to see this sorted out. I really think this is a good service and need it badly.
Will update when things work out for me.

@Aniket  thanks for that update.  It's unfortunate, but hopefully Fi and its Oman partner(s) can get things resolved quickly.  Let the forum know if you get any more info from support, please and thanks.

Hello guys..

I tried to activate my SIM card here in Oman, but i always got NO SERVISE .. that drive me crazy ,
I reach out to google fi team and i tried every thing they suggested but no luck ..
Please guys any suggestions?
I tried iphone, Samsung and even mate 20 pro .. same problem :/
