Use the new GV interface w/ Google Fi? (or Manage Outgoing VM files some other way) 0 Recommended Answers 2 Replies 1 Upvote
I'm hoping one of you can help me. I'm a voice actor and need to have professional audio as my OGM for voicemail. I used to be able to use the Google Voice interface to upload new audio files to my service, and to manage them. Now, when I go into the GV interface (using the GV link at the bottom of the Google Fi page, it says:
Voicemail Greeting To manage your voicemail greetings, use the new Google Voice
this link just keeps redirecting me back to the Google Fi page, where I can keep looping, but can't get a new file uploaded into the system. I know there's a method using temp storage but that requires a rooted phone. Mine isn't rooted.
Anyone here know how to get to the "new Google Voice" so I can properly manage my OGMs? I also used to be able to do it through "Groups" in GV settings... but that's just letting me pick stale ones now saying:
This is the voicemail greeting callers hear
To manage your voicemail greetings, use the new Google Voice
It's really starting to annoy me and I don't want to root, so before I get too frustrated I thought I'd come in here and ask the experts. Anyone have any non-root ideas to get my audio files in as my OGM? Or a URL command that will stop the new Google Voice portal from looping me back to Fi?
Thanks for any help you can give!
