NO SERVICE for 3 days after updating Moto X4 0 Recommended Answers 8 Replies 9 Upvotes

I installed the latest update on Tuesday morning and ever since then have had NO SERVICE. This is day 3 without service, I can only do things on WiFi, which basically means if I leave home or the office, I am screwed. I wasted a ton of time on Tuesday afternoon on the phone with Support who was incredibly difficult to work with and in the end they had no solution and just said I would have to wait until it was fixed. How is that service??? I am ready to go buy an iPhone today and ditch Google Fi altogether if I don't get service restored. 

Is anyone else having this problem? They said on the phone with Support that it's a known issue, so I thought it would be more talked about on the internet if this was happening to multiple people and they've had no service for THIS LONG.

I can't deal with this, it's pretty ridiculous that we haven't even gotten so much as an update. I am on my way to the Verizon store tonight.

I'm very sorry to hear you're currently experiencing this situation.  As previously related to you by Google Fi Support, this is a known issue, which is actively being investigated by Google Fi.

I reported my issue on June 11. I called them today and they are replacing my phone under warranty. Whatever fix they might have been trying to make hasn't worked for the affected devices. The tech I spoke to tonight was very pleasant.

I have also been stuck on no service for days. I will have a good 10 minutes where I can make a call or send txt messages but then it goes dark for the rest of the day. Having employees and a business to run it makes it impossible to use google fi as my phone service. Will probably be switching back to Verizon soon if this persists. Especially because I’m paying for services that I can’t even access when I need it. At least Verizon you get services for your money. #disappointed

I suggest you contact Google Fi Support directly for help with this issue.  They should be able to look into the matter further and assist you accordingly.

Having the same exact problem, but on a different device. Did a system update on my Samsung Galaxy S10+ on Friday, and the data on my Google Fi sim stopped working. No idea what to do. Have tried all the trouble shooting steps I could find, but no luck still after 3 days.
