Hi everyone,

Our team is aware of an issue with placing and receiving calls on Fi and is actively working on a fix. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. 

In the meantime, you can use Google Hangouts as a workaround:
  1. Install the Hangouts dialer here.
  2. In Hangouts, set incoming calls to "On": Settings > Your Fi Account > Google Fi Calls & SMS > Incoming Calls (On).
We will update this thread as we know more.

Thank you. I have been actively trying to reach Google Fi support through email and chat to no avail. I can receive calls, texts, and email but can make 0 (zero) outbound calls. It is super frustrating because my dad just died and I am planning a funeral and cannot call ANYONE!!!!!! Very upset and very desperate.

I'm in the middle of escrow, trying to work out financials, and this is completely fucking up the process. I need it fixed NOW. I am almost certainly going to cancel fi over this.

Same issue here.. for those of us who use our phones for work for public safety ..this is completely unacceptable. I will be cancelling my service.

It appears that the only calls currently working are within the Google Fi network. That is, I can call Google Fi voicemail or other Google Fi mobile numbers, but not my home or anyone on another mobile network. Definitely not a good look for Google Fi service.
