My Pixel 3 is not even 2 weeks old.  I bought a case on day 1, no drops, no damage, no nothing.  2 days ago I was answering a friend on Whatsapp and suddenly the screen started flashing brilliant white light very randomly and rapidly.  My response was to adjust the brightness so I exited Whatsapp (it was still flashing) and upon adjusting the screen brightness it stop flashing momentarily, but started right up again and as I adjusted the brightness the phone displayed green squares on the lower 3/4s of the screen.  After 2 restarts, the problem disappeared.  Last night at 9:30pm, it started again.  Same exact issue. 2 restarts and it's okay for now.  Anyone else having this issue?  I have contact Fi support but haven't heard a peep yet.

Yep! Also started having it. I'm need to find out if this might be corrected by software updates as otherwise I'll need to bother into taking support and device to US. It's consistent, January security update. Took a slowmo here : https://photos.app.goo.gl/SCYYvvaHiTpjhQXSA

i've gone the RMA route with 2 previous pixel3 project fi, now this 3rd is doing the green flash.  Although its intermittent now unlike the first 2 where once it began, it was consistent each time there after.

i have a friend who got the pixel3 from google store unlocked and has never had this issue. This is seeming like it's tied to the stock from the project fi storefront.

i've finally just requested full refund and they're honoring it.  i'm going to try verizon or maybe google store unlock.

EDIT:  looks like this isn't tied to fi, but verizon, unlocked, and even 3XLs:

Place of purchase was Google.  Thankfully the replacement they sent has not had same defect.
