Fi Customer Support CHAT -- Is there a written transcript stored and accessible somewhere? 0 Recommended Answers 7 Replies 16 Upvotes

Tried looking in my Fi account for a record of the chat, but cannot find it. Need to see the reference # the CS gave me to follow up.  Trying to complete the steps to activate the referral code for new friend on Google Fi, and need information in the on-line CS chat. Any ideas?

They are supposed to email you the transcript after the chat session. Not sure why they didnt

I've had two support cases with Google Fi support recently and have not received an email of the transcripts.  The link above just sends me to the general help page.  Is there a way to retrieve a transcript of previous support cases?

I can't seem to activate my phone can you please help me everytime I try to activate it it sends me to which account am I trying to use what what GMail am I trying to use I don't know how to set this up but I would really like to try out your service

Hi 0TX GANG,
 
You'll have to set up a google account with a GMail address (or a G-Suite account) before you can sign up for Google Fi service.
 
To set up a new account, you can go to mail.google.com (or I think there should be a link to create a new account where it asks you to sign in).

While you are still in the chat session, highlight everything in the window and copy it and paste it wherever you wish. That should give you what you need even if you don't get the transcript. The transcripts are pretty reliable, but apparently this time was a glitch.
 
Did you call support back and ask for the transcript, or just ask for the information again?
 
But what you need may be in your account page. Go to the Fi website, fi.google.com and click on the Share the Fi love link at the left of the page. You'll see a link to share with people that gives you and them the referral benefits "After your referral has been active for 30 days, you'll both get $20 Fi credit.".
