Over the past couple of weeks my service has been terrible with constant areas of non-coverage despite being in a fully covered metro area. Over the past few days I haven't been able to make calls, and have probably been missing calls. After some troubleshooting, I found out it was because I was on the Sprint network. I thought Fi was supposed to have fixed this problem years ago? I have had to disable my network switching as a result of this, and I'm worried that I will have to switch to another carrier if it keeps up. Does anyone know if this is a result of the T-mobile/Sprint merger or something?

I suggest you contact Google Fi Support directly for help with this issue.  They should be able to look into the matter further and assist you accordingly.

For whatever reason, this issue crops up from time to time.  When it happens to me, I just clear data from the Google Fi app, reactivate the phone and the problem is gone.  Settings/Apps/Google Fi/Storage/Delet Data.

No luck with customer service, they just re-enabeled my network switching and thus killed my phone again. I am test driving the system after reactivating the Fi app. It defaulted to T-mobile which is a step up from what it was doing, but I fully expect it to fail again when it goes back to Sprint. Hope it works... If this is a known bug, why hasn't it been fixed yet?

I have a similar problem as I cannot place phone calls/texts on the Sprint network. It's been going on for over a year without resolution. I have to enter a sequence of numbers to reset my google fi network almost weekly. It's super annoying and customer service will not help at the moment. I've been emailing them back and forth since May and it takes them weeks to respond to me.
