Previously, I've had great reception from home, but now the quality is so poor that my phone is useless. I need immediate help. I can't be without phone service as I'm a First Responder and get call-outs on my phone.

Hey SIG!

Thanks for your question, and welcome to the Forum!

You may want to investigate wifi calling if the cell signal around your house has become inconsistent. Check out the information on this page for more details to set it up: https://support.google.com/fi/answer/6157793?hl=en

Hope that helps!

The issue is that the update made my reception service worst. The phone should work better after upgrading, no? Thats the common thought here

Same situation here.  My zip code is  85388. When I first got Fi, I would travel just 25 miles to another zip code and everything was fine in that area. When I returned home, I had zero to maybe 2 bars. I would go outside and still, the reception was weak.
I was given a number to switch networks  *#*#34777#*#*
I had to do this daily. I complained multiple times and no one could help me beyond telling me to switch networks using the aforementioned code.

For the last year, things seemed to be working much better. Now once again I am back to the same problem I started with, constantly using that code to switch networks.  To top it off, I don't leave the house anymore. I work from home.  This is a huge pain when I'm on a meeting call and my reception suddenly tanks.

What the heck kind of update was sent to my phone essentially transporting me back in time to an annoying issue I thought was finally remedied?  Pixel 3a

Is anyone responding to these complaints anymore?

This sounds similar to the problem that I am having. Fi aggressively switches to T-Mobile and sticks with it even though T-Mobile has the worst reception of the three networks where I live.

Worked great for years, but recently has been an issue.

I am having the same problem and super frustrated!!!! I thought switching to Google was gonna be great and they have extremely  let me down with GoogleFi reception.  You also can't seem to get a straight answer as to why your service sucks either. I'm over paying $140 a month when i paid $60 with Straight Talk and always had service.   Switching to GoogleFi was the biggest mistake i made.
