Hello Charity Blanchard,

If you are using Google's default Messaging app, and if you deleted the conversation by swiping it left or right, it most likely was archived and not deleted.  To check, open the Messages app, select the three lines menu on the top left, and then select "Archived."

If you see the missing conversation there, tap and hold to select it.  Then tap the unarchive icon, just to the left of the trash bin, to return the conversation to the main location.

If you actually deleted the conversation by selecting "Delete" in the confirmation dialog that reads, "Delete this conversation?" that cannot be undone; the conversation is permanently erased and can't be recovered.
