When I get a call from my mom's landline, the call drops as soon as I finally pick up. 0 Recommended Answers 6 Replies 3 Upvotes

every time my mom calls me from her landline, the call drops as soon as I answer. All I have tried is calling her back or testing it out by her calling me from her cell. But that's not really solving the real problem. I'm not sure how many other calls are dropping because they are from landlines, such as other homes or offices etc. Anyone else having this problem?

I have had the same problem that I can not call from my home # to my cell.  It rings but as soon as you answer the call it hangs up.   That was on my Pixel 2.  I have purchased two more phones (both Pixel 3xl and they both do the same thing.  Now I can not receive any incoming calls from anyone.   Google finally admitted that they have issues with at&t landlines working on their system.   Now $2,000 later I still can not receive any incoming calls.

I am having the same issue. It's just my mom's landline that is dropped as soon as I answer. Glad to know I am not the only one and I am hoping Google will fix this soon... It's really frustrating not being able to receive calls from a family member.

I suggest you submit feedback directly to Google Fi via the app.  Just open the app and scroll to the bottom of the page and tap "Send feedback." 
 
Although you will not receive a reply unless additional input is needed, be assured that the development team does make use of the information they receive via this feedback mechanism.

I am having the exact same problem. I switched mine and my wife's wireless from ATT to Google Fi couple weeks back. Starting last week, I wasn't able to make or receive call from my landline at home (ATT). Same for my wife. Anyone know how can we fix this?

As I suggested in a prior post, please submit feedback to Google Fi.  The more people who send feedback, the more likely enough data can be gathered to solve this issue.  
 
Just open the Fi app and scroll to the bottom of the page and tap "Send feedback." 
 
You will not receive a response unless additional input is needed; however, please be assured that the development team does make use of the information they receive via this feedback mechanism.

Thanks. I actually did that and provided the information. I am hoping they got the issue resolved as this is really a deal breaker for anyone (can't call your cell from your home).
