Some texts are not being received, but marked as "Delivered"

I tried sending texts, but the dark blue texts in my Android Messages history were not sent even though they were marked delivered:

Hello - Looking at your screenshots, the dark blue is RCS while the light blue is SMS and your phone is switching back and forth between them. Is the person you are writing to also a Fi customer?

My guess is there is some type of issue with RCS on either your phone, the other phone, or both. 

This is probably over-kill, but I would suggest you clear data/cache on the Messages and Carrier Services applications on both devices to see if that solves the issue.

Having a similar issue. Messages are saying sent on my end, but other user is not receiving them. I've been on with Support for two hours last night and another hour today. Tried clearing cache, switching networks, and just about everything under the sun with no luck.

I've had the same issues as Brandon for almost two weeks. I'm on a Moto x4. I spent two hours with front-line support and after all their scripts didn't work they said they would escalate the issue and they would contact me by email. Then nothing. I called back and they said the issue is in the queue and they would be contacting me by email. More nothing.

The thing I find most frustrating is once you get past all the known issues and it's something that front-line support can't resolve, there's absolutely no followup, no workarounds, nothing. I've been on Fi from almost the first and have heard different opinions about support. You can now count me in the "crappy support" camp.

Brandon and Dale, did you ever find a solution?  I started having this problem the beginning of October.  I received notification that the messages go out OK, but, recipients never receive them. Mostly from Verizon, Trak phone,  international

I was having this issue on my Google Pixel 4, but only for one contact who is not on Fi. I went into messages, details and turned on "Only send SMS and MMS messages". It seemed to work after I did that, and the messages went back to the normal light blue color, from the dark blue that it was showing.
