Use your own phone with Google Fi
Most popular phones are compatible with Fi. You can bring one of the phones below to Google Fi.
- If you’re a new to Fi, sign up at fi.google.com/signup.
- You’ll be able to order a free SIM card during the sign up process, or purchase one at an authorized retailer.
- If you purchased a SIM card at a retail location, you can select ‘Bring your own phone’ during the sign-up process. Once you confirm your phone is compatible with Fi, select the ‘Don’t need a new SIM’ box under the ‘We’ll send a free SIM’ section.

To get started, download the Google Fi app on your new phone at fi.google.com/app.
Supported phone models
Only unlocked devices can be used with Google Fi. If you purchased your phone through Google Fi or the Google Store, your device is unlocked.
If you aren’t sure if your phone is unlocked, you can contact your current carrier or the place where you purchased your phone. You need to make sure you don't owe any payments on your device. Your carrier might also have other requirements to unlock your device.
All Android models at a minimum must run Android 7.0 and have LTE bands 2 and 4. All iOS models must run iOS 11 or higher. CDMA-only phones can work on Fi's LTE network. If there is no LTE available, they won't be able to fall back to GSM (2G, 3G).
Designed for Fi phones are sold by Google Fi or the Google Store and give you the full Fi experience. Other phones listed below are Compatible with Fi.

- Download the Fi app to activate your service and transfer your number to Google Fi.
