Turn notifications on or off

Get notifications about your data usage, local emergencies, Google Fi news, and other notifications you choose.

If you turn off all notifications, you'll still get important messages about your service. For example, we'll let you know about order-related updates, issues with your account, or an overdue payment.

Turn notifications on or off

  1. Open the Google Fi app Fi.
  2. In the "Account" tab, scroll down to "Account Settings."
  3. Select Notifications.
  4. Select the notifications you want to receive.

Turn emergency alerts on or off

You can get alerts about nearby threats or emergencies. If your phone is on Wi-Fi only mode, or there’s no cell signal, you might not get emergency messages. 

Android

  1. On your Android device, open Settings .
  2. Tap Notifications and then Wireless emergency alerts.
  3. Select the alerts you want to receive.

iOS

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Scroll down to "Government alerts."
  4. Select the alerts you want to receive.
