Set data alerts & limits

You can get a notification after a set amount of data use. When you reach your limit, your mobile data speed slows down.

Important: Settings and features may vary by device.

1. Open the Google Fi app .

   

2. To manage a user’s data usage, tap a Profile picture.

   

3. Tap Edit data settings.

   

4. Under "Monitor and budget data usage," use the sliders to:
   • Set a data usage alert
   • Slow down your data

   

   Tip: When you reach your alert and slow data limit, you get notifications.

   

5. To get a notification in your inbox, check the box next to "Also notify by email."
