Change your legal or billing address in your payments profile

You can change an address associated with a specific payment method or update your legal address in your payments profile.

Edit your legal address

Your legal address is the first billing address that you added to Google or the address that you used to verify your identity. It may also be the address that you used to sign up for business products or services.

Google needs your legal address to comply with regulations, prevent fraud and calculate taxes applicable to you.

Important: Once you've added a legal address, you can't change your home country. If you move to a new country, you'll need to create a new profile. You can only create one payments profile per country. Learn more about payments profiles.

Change your legal country

Important: You can't change a legal country or region associated with your current payments profile. If you have moved, are travelling or have temporary residence in another country, you must create a new payments profile. Learn more about payments profile
