Having trouble with your Costco order?

If you're a Costco member, and your Costco items couldn’t be checked out due to invalid member information or an expired membership, follow the below steps. 

Get in touch with Costco regarding any other membership-related questions at (800) 774-2678.

Follow these steps before placing a new order:

1. If your Costco membership number didn't go through

On mobile:

  • Tap the menu icon , then Settings, then Loyalty programs
  • Edit or enter your membership name and number next to Costco

On desktop: 

  • Tap the menu icon , then Settings
  • Scroll to Loyalty programs
  • Edit or enter your membership name and number next to Costco

You can also enter your Costco membership name and number at checkout.

2. If your Costco membership has expired

If the Costco membership number has expired, go to Costco.com to renew.

After renewing online, follow these steps:

On mobile:

  • Tap the menu icon , then Settings, then Loyalty programs
  • Edit or enter your membership name and number next to Costco


On desktop: 

  • Tap the menu icon , then Settings
  • Scroll to Loyalty programs
  • Edit or enter your membership name and number next to Costco

Please allow 24 hours for your membership to become active after renewing it online.
 

3. Mismatching name

The name on your Costco membership card has to match the name you enter with your Costco membership on Google Express. 

You can update your Costco membership name by going to Settings > Loyalty programs.

4. Other problems with your Costco membership

While you may have had successful Costco orders in the past, your orders may not currently go through for one of the reasons above.
