We need to be able to select a "Guide" by IP address rather than by broadcast - is this possible? 1 Recommended Answer 1 Reply 1 Upvote
We have a Cisco network with 2000+ clients on it and the iPads that will serve as guides are connected to the same VLAN as the Classroom VR headsets. The problem is, the devices cannot see each other. We do not have client isolation enabled on this WLAN. Is it possible to specify a guide by IP address rather than relying on mDNS? It sounds like the connection switches to just using random ports after the initial one is made. Because this is relying on a broadcast protocol, these devices are not enterprise friendly. Is any work being done to improve this situation?
