Why is the explorer's device stuck on "Hold on: Your guide is getting ready"? 2 Recommended Answers 9 Replies 1 Upvote

Everything is set up correctly to guide a tour.  When I go to join the tour as an explorer, the explorer device sits on the "Hold on: Your guide is getting ready" screen.  Once about every 20 seconds it will flash briefly back to the screen where you select which tour to join, then back to the hold on screen. I cannot figure out why it is stuck here.  Help!

Hi All,
I've tried pointing to an object and tried re-installing. We've used Google Expeditions with the same router for 3 years without any issue. Now that I've upgraded the app, the troubleshoot connections doesn't work and there is nowhere on the app to see which network you are connected to. 

The phones are stuck on the HOLD ON screen. Some will flash for a second off but none will connect to the guide.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is where my district is too!  I'm able to access the guide, but then I get the the phones are stuck on the HOLD ON screen. Some will flash for a second off but none will connect to the guide.
