This article is for Google Workspace Administrators.
As a Google Workspace administrator, you can see usage trends and monitor Classroom user activity in your organization. For example, you can see the number of active classes and the posts created by teachers and students.
Open your report
You can see data from December 8, 2016, and later.

Sign in with an administrator account to the Google Admin console.
If you aren’t using an administrator account, you can’t access the Admin console.

Go to Menu
Reporting > Reports > Apps reports > Classroom.
Requires having the Reports administrator privilege.

Scroll and point to a graph to see date-specific statistics.

At the bottom of Posts created, check or uncheck a box to sort by teachers or students.

(Optional) To remove a graph or add one back:

At the top, click Manage Reports.

Click Remove
or the Down arrow
and then the graph.

Click Save.

Download a report
- Open the report (instructions above).
- In the top corner of a graph, click Download
.
- Choose a format and click Download.
Review Classroom usage data for a user
You can review the number of classes and posts created and last active time in Classroom.

Sign in with an administrator account to the Google Admin console.
If you aren’t using an administrator account, you can’t access the Admin console.

Go to Menu
Reporting > Reports > User Reports > Apps usage.
Requires having the Reports administrator privilege.
- Click Add a filter
User name.
- Enter the user’s name or email address
click their name in the list.
Remove extra columns
The columns that refer to Classroom are Classroom - last used time, Classes created, and Posts created.
Note: Last time used—The last time the user took an action on Classroom, such as creating, grading, returning or submitting work, or posting to the class stream.
To remove columns from the report:
- Click Manage columns

- Next to a column, click Remove
.
- Click Save.

Point to the graph to see data for a specific date.
