This article is for educators.

If you want to use Assignments, but don’t see it in your LMS, your admin might not have set it up. For instructors to use the tool, your admin has to install it within your institution's LMS.

[Subject] Google Assignments is now available to add to our LMS

Hi [insert Admin’s name],

Have you heard about Google Assignments, a new LTI app included with Google Workspace for Education? I'd like to request that you install it so instructors can use it within our Learning Management System

With Google Assignments, instructors can:

  • Create and share new coursework, like templates and worksheets.
  • Use time-saving grading features, like an easy-to-use comment bank.
  • Check for potential plagiarism in student work with originality reports.

You can learn more about setting up Google Assignments, which is generally available as a Google Workspace for Education Core Service. As an instructor, I believe this would make our work within our LMS better for student and instructor assignment workflows.

Thanks for considering,
[Instructor’s name]
