Hi Paul,

We have to apologize for this confusing new format.  Even though it doesn't look like it, there's room in the description line for as much explanation as necessary to give us a good description of your problem and what you've tried so far.

Google Earth Pro saves images as .jpg when you use the Save Image button or File>Save>Save Image.  There are quite a few image editors that will convert to .jpg to .png.

You can also take a screenshot using the Windows Snipping Tool or one of a number of third party screen capture utilities.

I hope that helps.

Im having trouble with the image export in GE Pro which is now only allowing me to export to a Google Earth Print option (*.geprint) where I need a jpg or other graphic export option.  is there a setting somewhere I need to modify?

Hi Tim, it sounds as if you are using the save button under the "Map options" menu. That button is not for saving the image, it's for save the options you have selected so that you can use them again.

Instead use the "Save image" button on the same toolbar as the "Maps options" button.
