Google Earth Tours

Last week I found a google earth tour about early explorers and used it for an assignment for my students, but now it is gone and they can't complete the assignment. Would like to know where it went.

Hi Jeremy,

Without knowing a little more about the tour, it's difficult to say. Do you remember how you found it?

Have you looked here:
In the education tab there are projects about Captain Cook, and Lewis and Clark.

That is accessed via the "ship's wheel" Voyager icon in the side bar in Google Earth. Voyager is moving to a new address (https://www.google.com/earth/about/gallery/), but there doesn't seem to be so much at the new address yet.

Adding, the response from Google is that the Voyager page is working as intended, but that there are still discussions about it. So I don't know if any of the missing tours will be added.

If anyone is looking for a missing tour and you know the exact title of it you could try doing a web search for it and for Google Earth. It's possible it might be found.

Hello,

I am in the same predicament.  Many of the Google Earth Tours (Stories) that used to be on Voyager are no longer available.  In short, when they moved Voyager over to the new address many of stories did not migrate over.

I have serval other tours that used to be readily accessible on voyager that also did not migrate to the new address.

Sincerely,

John Overstreet
