How to increase the font size of the Menu, Toolbar icons, Places Pane and Layers Pane in Desktop app

The font size of the above-mentioned options in my Google Earth pro desktop application on my PC are very small. The only troubleshooting information I can find leads me to the changing of the font size of placemarks or places on the map itself.

1) Right-click on your Google Earth Pro icon on your desktop.
2) Select "Properties".
3) Select "Compatibility".
4) At the bottom, click on "Change high DPI settings".
5) At the bottom, put a check-mark in the box next to "Override high DPI... (etc)".
6) In the drop-down menu beneath that, select "System".
7) Click OK to close all menus.
8) Launch Google Earth Pro.  You should see a larger font in the left panel, larger icons across the top, a larger compass control, and larger coordinates and other data at the bottom right of the screen.

Hi Berkeley,

Google is aware that many users find the fonts too small.  Don't quote me, but I think the problem has to do with the default Windows font being Segoe UI 9 pt.  It's easy to change to another font but difficult to change to another size.  No, I don't know all the details.

Please try: "start the Windows Registry Editor (regedit.exe), navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\Google Earth Pro\", and delete the 4 registry entries whose names start with "PolyEdit"."  Be sure you back up your registry first.

Please let us know if that makes a difference.

Worked for me, but had to double click several times before:
1) properties would become available
2) and then again several times before there was a "properties" box that included a "compatibility" option
