Why won't the aerial view on Google Earth resolve properly? It used to previously.

Aerial views of certain addresses on Google Earth do not resolve properly when they did previously. The location indicator is transposed on a blob of color and jumbled outlines. Not all addresses, just some.

You probably had version 7 or 8.  They've been permanently turned off.

Hi Samuel,

For the Android version of Google Earth, please try going to Settings>Apps and Notifications>Earth>Storage and clear Cache and Storage.  That may vary slightly depending on your Android version.

That seems to solve most Android version problems.  No one is reporting any real systemic problems.

Please let us know if that works for you.

I was forced to uninstall and then download the app of a newer version. The original download was 6 years old and probably corrupted somehow.
