You can create customized maps and stories about places around the world with text, photos, and videos. You can also share your maps and stories with others to collaborate.

Create a project with a Google account

Anyone with a Google account can create projects. If you don’t have an account, you can sign up for one here.

Tips:

• Projects must be created on a computer.
• You can use any fully-supported browser like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.
• Before you start your project, gather any photos or online videos you want to include in your project about places you visited.

Create a project

1. Avaa Google Earth tietokoneella.
2. Klikkaa vasemmalta Tiedosto Uusi Drive-projekti. 
3. Lisää otsikko ja kuvaus klikkaamalla Muokkaa .

Tip: To make sharing easier, your changes are automatically saved in Google Drive when you create a project.

Copy an existing project

1. Avaa Google Earth tietokoneella.
2. Valitse kopioitava projekti vasemmasta paneelista.
3. Valitse Lisää toimintoja  Luo kopio.

Create a KML file

1. Avaa Google Earth tietokoneella.
2. Klikkaa vasemmalta Tiedosto Uusi paikallinen KML-tiedosto.
3. Valitse Lisää paikkamerkitsin tai Piirrä polku tai polygoni.

Tip: A KML file is saved in your computer's browser storage.
