Explore Google Earth with Voyager

You can tour the world with a collection of map-based stories with Voyager in Google Earth. Explore topics like travel, culture, nature, and history.

Open Voyager in Google Earth

1. On your computer, open Google Earth.
2. On the left, click Voyager .
3. Choose one of the following categories:
   • Nature
   • Games
   • Layers
   • Street View
   • Culture
   • Travel
   • Education

Start a tour in Google Earth

1. On your computer, open Google Earth.
2. On the left, click Voyager .
3. Choose a category.
4. Click a story to find a list of related places across the globe.
5. On the right, find pictures or videos of your current location. From here, you can:
   • Make the pictures bigger: In the bottom left corner of the photo, click Full-screen .
   • Find more pictures: Click the arrows next to the photo.
6. To move between locations, at the bottom right, click the arrows.
   • Your story might have other chapters to view. To find other chapters, at the top, click Table of contents.
7. To return to the category selection, at the top left, click Back .

Choose Layers in Google Earth

You can view info like global temperatures, rainfall, and wind speeds using Layers. You can also explore places around the world in 3D.

1. On your computer, open Google Earth.
2. On the left, click Voyager .
3. Choose the Layers category.
4. Click a story.
