If you aren't receiving call notifications, or they’re delayed, try these tips to fix the problem.
Try some common fixes
- Re-open the app: To start Duo again, exit and then re-open the app.
- Download the latest version of the app: Check that you have the latest version of Duo from the app store. If you don't, the app page will say, 'Update'.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: If you're using Wi-Fi instead of mobile data, make sure that your Wi-Fi is on.
- On your iOS device, open Settings .
- Turn on Wi-Fi.

Turn on Duo notifications
- Open your device's settings .
- Tap Notifications Duo.
- Turn on Allow notifications.
Check blocked numbers
Check that the phone number isn't blocked.
- On your iOS device, open Duo More Settings Blocked numbers.
- Check that the phone number isn't listed.
Turn off 'Do not disturb'
Check whether Do not disturb is on or off:
- Open your device's settings .
- Tap Do not disturb.
- Make sure that Do not disturb and Scheduled are off.
Allow Duo to work in the background
To send you notifications, Duo needs to be on in the background.
- Open your device's settings .
- Tap General Background app refresh.
- Turn on Duo.
