Block or report someone

If you no longer want to receive calls or messages from someone, you can block them.

Important: People who you previously blocked in Duo can join Meet meetings. Learn more about who can join your meetings.

Block or report someone

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Duo app .
2. Tap and hold the contact you want to block for 2 seconds.
3. In the contact options menu, tap Block user .
   • To report abuse, select the 'Report as spam' tick box.
   • To only block the person, unselect the 'Report as spam' tick box.
4. Tap Block.

Unblock someone

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Duo app .
2. At the top right, tap Options .
3. Tap Settings  Blocked users.
4. Tap the person that you want to unblock.
5. Tap Unblock.
