Block or report someone

If you no longer want to receive calls or messages from someone, you can block them.

Important: People who you previously blocked in Duo can join Meet meetings. Learn more about who can join your meetings.

Block or report someone

After you block someone, they can't contact you directly on Duo but you might still interact with someone you've blocked if you're in a Duo group call together.

When you block someone, you can also report abuse.

1. On your computer, go to duo.google.com. 
2. Under 'Recent Activity', hover over the contact that you want to block and click Options .
3. Select Block user.
   • To report abuse, select the 'Report as spam' tick box.
   • To only block the person, unselect the 'Report as spam' tick box.
4. Click Block.

Unblock someone

To remove someone from your block list:

1. On your computer, go to duo.google.com. 
2. At the top right, open Settings  .
3. Select Blocked users.
4. Next to the person's name, click Unblock .
